I went to law school to make a difference. Prior to my career in law, I was an intervention counsellor at Serenity House (a women’s shelter in Kent County). My specialization in psychology and Juris Doctor degree, along with an extensive background of working with people led me to pursue family law so that I could make a positive impact on the lives of others.
I am an Executive Council Member of the Moncton Area Lawyers Association and a long-time volunteer. I work with the Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick (PLEIS-NB) presenting various family law workshops. I have also worked with a number of youth and women’s action committees, as well as the Fédération des étudiants et des étudiantes du Centre universitaire de Moncton (FÉÉCUM.)
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
