What You Bring

  • 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in family law

  • Experience handling family law matters such as divorce, parenting arrangements, child support, spousal support, and property division

  • Practical courtroom experience is considered an asset

  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of New Brunswick, or eligible for admission

  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills

  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and advance family law files from intake through resolution

  • Provide legal advice to clients on family law matters

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, agreements, and court materials

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for clients

  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients while providing compassionate and practical guidance
